My stay was plagued by numerous issues that really dampened my experience. The room was bogged down by bugs that entered through the window screens, and they made the nights nearly unbearable. Furthermore, the staff seemed indifferent to these concerns, which left me feeling unsupported and quite disappointed.

Bursting with delicious finds, the local eateries around Dominical stole the show! Just a hop from Tropical Sands, I devoured tacos at Del Mar and sipped brews from Fuego Coffee—pure bliss! Plus, the communal kitchen was a solid bonus for cooking up my own meals.

Despite these inconveniences, the enjoyable garden and helpful staff made my time here worthwhile.

Hotel Tropical Sands is a charming spot near the beach with beautiful gardens. However, the window screens in my room had holes, letting in bugs.

Staying at this lovely spot was a real treat for my whole family. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we loved the convenience of being just a short walk to the beach with its stunning waves. The staff made the difference with their friendly vibes and great recommendations for local spots, which include restaurants and shops.

My kids wished there were more activities specifically for families.

tropical sands is perfectly located just a 2-minute walk to the beach! the double room with an extra bed was spacious and clean, and the surrounding garden was a lovely touch. the friendly staff made my stay enjoyable, and i appreciated the option to bring and cook my own food in the kitchen.

The staff were unbelievably friendly and helpful, and the breakfast of coffee, scrambled eggs in tortilla, and fruit salad was delightful! The location is perfect—just a quick walk to the beach and centrally located.

However, a little attention to the kitchen cleanliness would enhance the stay.
